Balloons by YTE Events.

A popular Google question is “How Much Is A Balloon Garland?”

If you ask this question, the answer is provided by YTE Events in Lutz, Florida, 15 miles outside of Tampa with a population of just over 23,707 people, 8,584 households, according to Wikipedia and a median household income of $96,792 according to Point2Homes, you should be paying “$10 - $20 depending on what part of the country you are in.”

As an Expert Balloon Decorator in Los Angeles, I can tell you: Prices range from $30 - $75 per foot for organic balloon garland.

I find $10 - $20 per foot the lowest I have ever personally heard of garland costing and I was completely shocked. And I will tell you why!

Pricing we found on Google Search.

Nothing against YTE Events. Their balloon garlands look great, but this wouldn’t be a living wage for us here in Los Angeles, CA where a single bag of balloons is $22.19 plus tax.

Many clients call us, here at THE BALLOON GUY, exhausted, having tried their hand at an Amazon Garland Kit for $14.99 saying all of their balloons popped and they were up all night and the next day trying to make a DIY Balloon Garland before little Jenny’s 10th Birthday Party.

Do yourself a favor folks, call up your local Balloon Decorator, the best one you can find in your area, and ask them how much they charge per foot for a Balloon Garland.

You will be shocked! Or hopefully not, since you are reading this article, to learn that is is probably more than $10 - $20 per foot.

Additionally, most stores charge extras for Jumbo Balloons, Stars, Foils, Mylars, Confetti Balloons, Flowers, and more add-ons shown in those perfectly-taken Amazon photos, like the one below. In fact, most of those photos, Amazon took from a Balloon Decorator’s website (sometimes without their permission.

Balloon Decorators have special machines like a a Conwin Airforce 4 or Precision Air, which I might add is over $1,600 plus tax, and is used to make these intricate garlands.

These are the tools of an expert balloon artist. Good garlands will have 5”, 11”, 16”, and 24” - 36” jumbo balloons with all the added extras without being overdone.

A well styled and shaped garland can take hours to make, not including the years of practice it took to be able to make a beautiful balloon garland, and then it must be hung properly and with care.

Sometimes they require framing or a special-made structures in order to install them well.

Balloon Decorators must prepare balloon garlands in advance and then deliver to the client’s home or venue and install the garland per the clients instructions.

So don’t worry if you found it impossible to make your first Balloon Garland from that $14.99 kit from Amazon, so did most people.

You are not a bad mother.

But please, do us all a favor and hire a professional, and don’t waste your money or more importantly your time and stress, when you should be enjoying your party.
